Custom 6'6 Keel fish with Daniel Partch art fins for Tiffany.

6'9" fish I made for Daniel Partch. Daniel is living in Hawaii now and needed a shorter board to fit in the steeper waves so he asked for this long keel fish. Custom fins with wood burned birds by Daniel. Daniel is a true craftsman when it comes to wood fins.

Just got a bunch of fins from Larry Gephart. Some times I have to glass them for him. They're good fins so its easy.

Daniel has started to make his fins again from Hawaii. These are the first ones I have gotten. Sure not to be the last. I haven't been posting anything because my camera has dust on the lens. It's that dark spot on the last two photos. I'll borrow a camera until I can get it fixed. Newer posts should have better photos without the spot.

I went to the AB3 on Sunday in Oceanside. It was fun to see everyones work in person.
A lot of good boards and people. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Those type of events are good for the surfboard industry. No salesmen, just boards and surfing. I brought a few of my personal boards to the event and everyone seemed to be into them. Thanks! They gave out some awards for attendees and my 9'6" Drifter I shaped for Koga-san won for best fins. It had Daniel Partch's tri-fins with wood burned birds on them.--> IMG_1643.JPG

Got some fresh fins from Larry Gephart, hand foiled here in San Diego.

My new 9'6" Drifter. Chocolate dipped cherry with sanded gloss for stealth missions. Skip gave me the Daniel Partch fins to go with it. He is excited that I made this one for me.

Daniel Partch stopped by to pick up his new 9'0" 5 fin, Light blue with wood side runners that Daniel made.

The look on his face says it all. Glass on quads are a pain for the factory, even if they do work good. Dennis is a hard worker and doesn't complain too much about it though.

Custom 9'6" Drifter I made for my friend Koga-san. It has red tint with art fins by Daniel Partch. This is my take on Skip's Fish Simmons model.
