Larry Mabile and Skip deigned this blank for Surf Blanks America. Skip gave me a 6'8MF(Mabile/Frye) to try out. I shaped this 6'6" egg out of it and gave it to Mina to practice glassing. I liked the way the blank shaped. It was a little thick for hand shaping, but a very versatile blank. More foam lets you have more choices for the final outcome.

This is a 5'8 Bar Soap egg I shaped for my self. I am leaving for Japan today and will be taking this one with me. I'll be in Japan from the 4th till the 10th of June. I'll be in Shonan are for the first couple of days and then the fish fry in Shizunami on the 6th. After that I'll be in .....? It should be fun. I'll post some pictures of the trip when I get back.

My friend Shuhei stopped by to pick up his new board. This is a 7'0" x 22" x 2 3/4". Shuhei just returned from Japan and brought back this sake for me. Thanks Shuhei.

Kate stopped by today to pick up her 8'6" today. Kate chose this lime green and blue tint design. This lamination was a little tricky for me because of the timing but I got it. Learning as I go. Looks easy but...
